E. T. Mensah More Knowledgable And Experienced; But I've The Winning Spirit - Sam George

NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ningo Prampram in the 2016 election, Sam George has vowed to work hand-in-hand with incumbent MP, Enoch Teye Mensah after the 2016 elections despite their differences.

The Presidential staffer in an interview with CITI FM, Monday called on his supporters to cease fire as that is likely to daunt his chances of winning the 2016 elections.

Sam George described the mishaps before, during and after their primaries as Unfortunate after admitting that his victory over E.T Mensah should rather unite the constituency.

He also labelled the long serving NDC MP as a knowledgeable person adding that I must tap some knowledge from him. I will work with him [E.T Mensah] he is more experienced just that I have the wining spirit.

Sam George after a reschedule of the Ningo-Prampram NDC parliamentary primaries beat incumbent Member of Parliament Enoch Teye Mensah.

Certified results by the Electoral Commission showed George polled 4,910 votes representing 63.4 per cent of valid votes cast to end the Parliamentary career of Mr Mensah who has been in Parliament since 1997. E.T. Mensah polled 2,831 votes representing 36.5 per cent of valid votes cast.

E.T. Mensah and Sam George locked horns in what was popularly referred to as a David and Goliath fight in their determination to thump each other to lead the NDC in Ningo Prampram.

The polls was characterized by allegations and counter allegations by both sides with spots of attacks and heavy security presence.
