A man believed to be an aide to Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, E.T. Mensah has allegedly punched Sam George in his eye.
Sam George, who is fiercely contesting E.T. Mensah in the NDC primaries had complained that his name has been deleted from the party’s register in the Ningo Prampram constituency.
According to Citi News’ Elvis Washington, Habibu Mohammed punched Sam George’s right eye while he was addressing the press.
Elvis Washington reported that Habibu Mohammed had accused Sam George of fomenting trouble in the area hence his action.
He added that Sam George has been asked to lodge a formal complaint with the Police.
