The Northern region Chairpersons Association(NORCA) of the NPP has added their approval to the decision taken by the party's National Executive Committee to suspend indefinitely Mr. Paul Awentami Afoko as the National chairman of the party.

The NORCA support for the NEC decision is a big blow to Mr Afoko's fight since most members of the association were seen as his supporters.

The association is also the last to affirmed its support against Mr. Afoko. This means the embattled chairman has lost it utterly as far as the region is concerned.

In a short Statement this morning to peacefmonline.com signed by its organizer Mr. Adam Ussif Lord, the association says "We the Northern region Chairpersons Association of the New Patriotic Party wish to approve of the decision taken by the National Executive Committee of the party regarding the suspension of Mr. Paul Afoko as the chairman of the party"

The statement called for unity and charged all members to work harder for victory in the 2016 elections.

"We also want to urge all party members to stay put and work harder than before for victory 2016 general elections"
