Towards NDC Ayawaso West Primaries Constituents Root For Delali Brempong

Card bearing members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso West Wougon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region have mounted incessant pressure on one Emmanuel Delali Brempong, a former Chief Pharmacist at the University of Ghana Hospital who is now into private practice to contest the upcoming Parliamentary primaries of the party.

Currently, Mr. Brempong, is enjoying massive support from the constituents as he has been tipped to lead the party in the constituency this time around.

In an interaction with this paper over the weekend, some of the NDC members lauded him for his selflessness and his accessibility.

“He is approachable and communicates with us very well. There is not a single weekend that you will not see him at a social function assisting the needy”

Some opinion leaders, chiefs and other notable personalities in the constituency have also added their voices to the call on Delali Brempong to contest since according to them, he (Delali Brempong) believes in changing the fortunes of the constituency for the better and that he is very vocal when it comes to local meetings on charting new course for the youth of the area.

Emmanuel Delali Brempong in 2012 contested the NDC primaries but lost to Kwame Awuah-darko who also eventually lost to Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko of the NPP.

It is one of the few Constituencies where President Mahama had more valid votes cast than his Parliamentary Candidate.
