NDC Primaries: Sampson Ahi Curses Opponent

Deputy Water Resources, Works and Housing Minister, Sampson Ahi has called on the dreadful Kumasi deity, ‘Antoa Nyama’ to strike his political opponent and executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bodi constituency dead.

The curses, Sampson Ahi’s political opponent, Owusu Ansah said were rained on him and the party executives in public for falsely accusing him of attempting to kill the political opponent and his followers.

The primaries is slated for 7th November with all card bearing members of the NDC who have been registered biometrically set to cast a ballot to elect a Parliamentary candidate.

“When Sampson Ahi learnt of this new decision by the party, he panicked because he feared he could not influence them with money…,” Owusu Ansah alleged.

He also alleged that the Bodi MP tried to use ‘juju’ to kill the opponent who is billed to contest him in the upcoming NDC primaries.

Sampson Ahi in an interview with Adom News confirmed that he indeed called on the dreadful deity to strike him (Sampson Ahi) dead if he attempted to use ‘juju’ to kill his political opponent.

“Indeed I called on Antoa to mediate between the two of us as I could not find any other means of defending myself apart from that…I have rather cursed myself and not him…,” he told Adom News.

The Chief of Sefwi Afere, Nana Amadu Sae also confirmed the story adding that, he and elders in the area have summoned the politician to appear before them to explain why he invoked the dreadful curse.

He stated that Sampson Ahi would be dragged before the Sefwi-Wiawso Traditional Council if he fails to appear before them.

Meanwhile, the incument MP has expressed his willingness to appear before the chief and elders of the towm.

“I would gladly honour the invite…,” Sampson told Adom News.
