Arthur Kennedy Needs Medication; How Can He Say There Is No Elder In NPP?

Dr. Arthur Kennedy, a founding member of the of the opposition New Patriotic Party has been lashed out for his disparaging article which describes Nana Akufo-Addo, NPP 2016 Presidential Candidate as an intolerant leader.

According to the Brong Ahafo Regional NPP Youth Organizer, Kwame Bafo, says Dr. Arthur Kennedy should be given medication to remind him that he as a leading member of the party is part of the elders of NPP.

Speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show, Kwame Bafo insisted on giving Dr. Arthur Kennedy some herbal medicine to cure him of sickness because he is not well to say that there are no elders in NPP.

He was of the view that the 2008 NPP Communication Director has lost touch with the history of the New Patriotic Party as there is Council of Elders from the Constituency to the National level.

To him, the article of the Medical Doctor saddens him as he [Arthur K] closed his remarks about the NPP in his article as a leading member; reminding that Dr. Arthur Kennedy has shot himself in the foot with his article, saying there are no elders in the party.

“A leading member means he is an elder in the party and so if he says there is no elder then there is a problem with him; he should come to me for some medication to cure him….I will prepare herbal medicine from the Nim tree to cure”, he chided.

He stated that the 2016 elections will largely depend on the kind of elders and dignitaries who are surrounding the Presidential candidate; adding Ghanaians will base their voting on the people who are forming the next government.

He therefore hinted that the Council of Elders together with the National Executive and the National Council are going to meet over the brouhaha caused by the emergency meeting to settle the tension.
