Mr Ahenkorah was seeking to contest the Tema West constituency seat on the ticket of the NPP.

The Chief Executive of Carlo King Freight Logistics, Adomonline.com sources said was disqualified for various reasons including the fact that he transferred his vote to the constituency not too long ago.

He was also said to have failed to nurture the constituency including failing to participate in constituency activities for the past four years.
