Many people have tried to connect the just ended Nigeria's election to Ghana's upcoming election in 2016.

The main political parties in the country; New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) are also playing politics with General Mohammadu Buhari's victory and Goodluck Jonathan's defeat.

Well, Ghanaians surely have a way of comparing issues. This is what we found on social media: will you describe it as a coincidence or it is indeed a wind of change blowing.


1. Buhari is 72years, Nana Addo will also be 72 in next year's elections

2. Jonathan is 58, John Mahama will also be 58 in next year's election

3. Jonathan took over from his boss Musa Yaradua as president after his death, Mahama  also after Prez Mills death.

4. The PDP has the umbrella as it's emblem, the NDC has same

5. The NDC has red,white,black and green, the PDP has similar

6. Nana addo is going for president after several attempts, Buhari is doing same.

7. Jonathan & Mahama won against Buhari & Nana Addo respectively under bizzare circumstances

8. Both Jonathan & Mahama government have been full of massive corruption, mismanagement of the economy and bad governance

9. Jonathan and Mahama are very very close friends.. they travel a lot together.
