Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy has said gay marriage 'humiliates families' in his first TV interview since announcing his return to politics. Mr Sarkozy, 59, who has launched his bid to be re-elected as president in 2017, said he 'detested' the socialist government's gay marriage legislation.
