The assertion that the two times Presidential Candidate of NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo does not appeal to floating voters has been challenged by a founding member of the party, Mr. Ayisi Boateng. The NPP stalwart claims a careful look into the party�s membership data will prove that Nana Addo after assuming the flagbearership role has been enjoying the goodwill of floating voters. According to him, Nana Akufo-Addo was stabbed in the back in his attempt to unify the party after he made some of his contenders in the 2007 Presidential primaries, members of his campaign team. �The truth is only one and that�s, if Nana Addo is not a unifier, he would not have called Dr. Apraku and Dr. Arthur Kennedy to join his campaign team after contesting and using abusive words on him in the Presidential Primaries�it were some wicked people he trusted in his campaign team that failed to do their work�as a former General Secretary [Ohene Ntow] should come out with NPP's database on number of membership and find out if floating voters have been voting for NPP under Akufo-Addo�, he dared. Challenging Nana Ohene Ntow�s assertions that Akufo Addo once broke away from the fraternity to form the United National Convention [UNC] together with Mr. J.Y Manu, the late Peter Alajetey and Okatachie Akwasi Amankwa Afrifah, he begged to differ; Mr. Ayisi Boateng said Nana Addo did not play any role in the formation of the breakaway party. Pointing out Nana Akufo Addo's commitment within the party, he averred that the NPP's 2008 and 2012 Presidential candidate has always been there for the party in difficult times, and even dedicated 43 of his 70 years, to help build NPP in particular and strengthen's Ghana democracy in general. �I challenge anybody who will link up Nana Addo, the unifier, peacemaker and the team-player to that party [UNC]; you should go to the Electoral Commission to check the link Nana Addo had with UNC�.of course, some of his family members were part of UNC formation but Nana Addo was not a member of the party�.there is no crime in choosing your preferred candidate in any contest and Nana Addo has never said he cannot work with anybody in NPP�Nana Ohene Ntow should speak the truth in his campaign and stop what he is doing if he is short of campaign messages for his candidate�, he charged on Okay Fm�s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show.
