Brutal Assault in Radio Studio! �NDC Communicator Assaults NPP Man

The studios of a Kasoa-based radio station Pink FM turned bloody on Tuesday morning when a member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, Aaron Adomako hit the head of his fellow panellist Charles Owusu Boakye with a sharp object. Mr. Charles Boakye�s crime was to have stated that government�s decision to seek help from the International Monetary Fund could result in workers losing their jobs as part of conditions that would be outlined for the country. Narrating his ordeal to the Daily Searchlight, Mr. Boakye said he was a co-panelist on Pink FM�s Morning Show Program which airs between the hours of 8 � 10am and hosted by C�J. He said among the topics for discussion was government�s decision to seek help from the IMF on the ailing economy. According to him after he had finished with his submission, Aaron Adomako who appeared to be displeased with his submission, broke his head with a sharp object which resulted in blooding oozing from his head. �I did not see what exactly he used to hit my head but my head is broken and the crime I committed was that I said seeking help from the IMF could result in people losing their jobs and also saying that the cedi is the worst currency in the world now,� he said. He said immediately Aaron Adomako hit his head with the object, he run out of the studio adding the program ended abruptly as a result of the incident. Mr. Owusu Boakye noted that he has reported the incident to the Kasoa police and a medical form was issued for him to attend hospital for treatment.
