Special Delegates Congress Is A Done Deal For Nana Addo Former Youth Leader

Former National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Emmanuel Attefuah-Danso has predicted a massive win for the partys two-time presidential aspirant in the up-coming Special Delegates Congress to prune the 7 potential presidential flagbearers to 5 candidates. He claimed that, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the partys grassroot choice to lead the party for the third time after describing the other six [6] vying to lead the party as wisecrackers. Thus, their inclusion is to make the race less tensed. According to him, the Special Delegates Congress for the election of a presidential candidate scheduled for August 31, 2014 is a done deal for Nana Addo. Even a class one pupil will tell you Nana Addo will lead the NPP to victory come 2016. The Special Delegates Congress is just a mere formality; the reality is that Nana Addo even in a wheel chair will emerge victor in the Special Delegates Congress. It is a done deal for him. The rest are just jokers and money spenders, he said. The seven candidates vying to lead the elephant family in the 2016 presidential elections polled for positions on the ballot paper on Tuesday morning. Former Trade and Industry Minister, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku picked the number one spot on the ballot followed by Stephen Asamoah Boateng with Francis Addai Nimoh at the third position. Kofi Osei Ameyaw will be fourth on the paper while John Kwadwo Alan Kyerematen and Nana Akufo-Addo will be fifth and at sixth respectively. Joe Ghartey will occupy the seventh position. In an interview with Peacefmonline.com the former NPP youth leader suggested that, Nana Addo should have been exempted from the kids in the special congress after admitting that Alan can pull a surprise. Our [the NPP] constitution insists on a special congress if aspirants are more than 5, but apart from Alan who do not even match up to Nanas support, they rest are just walkovers for Nana, he said. He however told Peacefmonline.com that Nana Addos victory must translate into a resounding victory for the NPP to succeed the presidency. Operation 800 votes is duly launched, enforced for Nana Addo. He is the only hope for the party and Ghana, he opined.
