Suarez: If Gerrard wins he will be the best player in the world ahead of Messi and Ronaldo
Luis Suarez claims Steven Gerrard will be regarded as the best player in the world if he leads Liverpool to the Barclays Premier League title.
The Liverpool striker is convinced Gerrard will be elevated above current world player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona star Lionel Messi if they are crowned champions.
Gerrard has won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005 and twice lifted the FA Cup, but the Premier League has always eluded him.
