NDC Has Put The Fear Of God In Nana AddoNow Hes More Respectful & Humble

A National Executive Committee (NEC) member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says he has closely assessed the demeanor of the 2012 Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo, and can safely conclude that the ruling party has indeed put the fear of God in him regarding his relationship with others. Solomon Nkansah asserts the twice-defeated NPP Presidential aspirant appears humbled following the political lessons given him by the NDC. Solomon Nkansahs assessment came after Nana Akufo-Addo paid a courtesy call on some dignitaries in the country when he returned from his six month break from active politics and his subsequent declaration to contest the NPPs presidential primaries for the third time when nominations are opened. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, last Thursday, at his Nima residence officially declared his intention to make a third bid at the presidency of Ghana. I have been greatly humbled by the confidence that many, many Ghanaians from all walks of life, especially young people, some of whom are yet to cast their first ballot, have in me. I am profoundly grateful that so many people consider me worthy to lead this promising nation of ours, even at the young age of 70I thank the Almighty I am able to say that I feel spiritually, psychologically, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and patriotically strong enough to remain in the hurly burly of frontline politics..With great humility, therefore, I can announce that, when the party opens nominations sometime this year, I shall be ready, God willing, to contest for the position of NPP presidential candidate for the 2016 general elections, he declared. With words like humble, Almighty and grateful littering his speech, the NDCs National Propaganda Secretary asserted on Okay Fm that the ruling party has done a good work in the life of the twice defeated Flagbearer since Ghanaians look for a leader who fears God, humbled and preaches peace aside his ability to perform his functional duties. Ever since Akufo-Addo started his political career, it is NDC that has straightened up his life style; it is the work of NDC that has brought humility to his lifepreviously, his demeanor in politics was bad. We have brought the fear of God in his life and we also have made him realized the importance human beings because who is Akufo Addo to visit and greet chiefs after he has returned from his trip?..we taught him that in Ghana, aside the basic responsibility of a leader, Ghanaians vote based on these qualities; one who fears God, full of humility and has respect for mankind, he opined. He stressed that these virtues of Nana Akufo Addo was learnt from the late President Mills in 2008 elections, admitting that Nana Addo has made progress in these virtues but unfortunately cannot win elections because the secret of winning elections was not revealed to him. He added that it is not Nana Akufo-Addo who cannot win elections but any other candidate, explaining that NPP is block-headed when it comes to winning elections in Ghana as the partys ability to win elections is dependent on coalition with other opposition parties as it was done in 2000 and 2004 elections.
