It Is Important To Respect Prez Mahama

Mr Lawrence Paa Nii Lamptey, Effutu Constituency National Democratic Congress (NDC) aspiring chairman, has said it was important to respect the President. We need to uphold the dignity of the presidency, he said in an interview with the GNA at Winneba and added that people should not hide behind the democratic dispensation to insult the President. He said it was very unfortunate for the newly elected Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako, to say that President John Dramani Mahama ran away from the difficult living conditions in Ghana to spend the 2013 Christmas in Dubai. Let us be circumspect with what we say about the presidency in order not to scare away people who want to invest in the country, he said. He appealed to Ghanaians to speak well about the President and the country so that we can attract investors into the country to help us build the economy.
