I Feel Pity For Ben Dotse Malor - Nana Fredua Ofori Atta

A member of the communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Fredua Ofori Atta has questioned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ability to support Mr. Ben Dotse Malor to discharge his duties. He said the NDC-led administration is used to one way of communicating and so if Mr. Malor paves a different path, are they going to support him? Mr. Ben Dotse Malor, a former BBC presenter was appointed as a Senior Communications Adviser and Head of Communications at the Presidency by President John Dramani Mahama. This appointment has however been met with various criticisms and bashing especially from the main opposition as they feel it is not needed. Speaking to the issue on Kokrokoo platform, Nana Fredua said Mr. Malor has been described as a God- fearing, hardworking and very knowledgeable person but will the NDC support him to do what he knows best. They are just going to worry this man; he does not have any problem but what exactly is he going to do with his new position. Mr. Malor has been classified as a God-fearing person, good and all that but if he advises the NDC-led administration, will they listen? Will they allow him to do his work as Ghanaians expect? I feel pity for him; unless he takes the back sit and work from behind the scenes because as for the NDC; they can worry him, he intimated. Nana Fredua alluded that the NDC has an arrogant and proud attitude which is reflected in how they communicate and that has caused majority of the challenges they are facing as a government. It is a serious issue which has to be dealt with otherwise according to him, Mr. Malors work will not be effective.
