New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Tema East, Titus Glover has implored party faithfuls and Aspirants to desist from hurling invectives at their opponents. Speaking on Oman FM's political analysis programme National Agenda, Titus Glover admonished the candidates vying for positions in the party to stop running down their opponents, all in the name of wresting power. According to him, they can run a sound campaign and vouch for any candidate of their choice but they should not disparage the reputation of others. Though advising the party faithfuls as they gear up to vote for their favourite candidates, Titus Glover however threw his weight behind the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party, Ishmael Ashitey and his executives. To him, the Regional Chairman should not be ousted but maintained due to his good works and efforts to enhance the NPP's progress. He hailed him (Ishmael Ashitey) for working assiduously for the party but appealed to party members to vote out the Regional Youth Organizer who, in his view, has failed to execute his duties effectively. �I still want Ishmael to be in the driving seat. It�s his nature to be slow but at the end of day, you will get the results...But I have a problem with the Youth Organizer. I will not support him. Where we�ve reached, the fight we�ve fought; for me, I�m not going to support the Youth Organizer." Titus Glover further called on the members to be decorous in language and their voting pattern as the NPP elects its new Regional executives on Saturday, January 25.
