Bernard Antwi Boasiako, an aspiring NPP Ashanti Regional Chair, has minced no words in describing President John Dramani Mahama as a regular disco attendee who placed his dancing skills ahead of presidential duties.
Speaking on Okay FM, the NPP stalwart who is popularly known as Chairman �Wontumi� stated that President Mahama�s official trip to Dubai during latter days of last year�s Christmas, was a complete waste of state resources.
Pressed by the host of show to provide evidence as to whether President Mahama enjoys hanging out at night clubs, Mr. Antwi Boasiako responded by stating that: �President Mahama is clearly a selfish man. He only cares about his family and not Ghanaians.
But when ex-president Kufour was in office, he used to spend a lot of time with the needy. President Mahama knows he has made Ghana a hard place to live and we know this because he told us the nation is on a first gear and that all the meat is now down to the bones regarding the economy.�
A staunch NPP member and a top contender for the Ashanti Regional Chairmanship position, "Wontumi" recently handed over a three-storey building to the party for use as its Regional Head office.
The three-storey build�ing, situated at Krofrom, a suburb of Kumasi, boasts of a car park, conference rooms, offices, rest rooms, among others.
Asked about the donation, Wontumi said he was presenting the office to the party, to help the NPP realise its great ambition of unseating the Mahama-led administration in 2016.
He said he was donat�ing the edifice to the NPP "not because I am rich", explaining that his gesture clearly buttressed his great love for the party.
