On Sunday, Sepetember 15, 2013, Nana Akufo Addo left Ghana for the UK for what an official statement from his office described a �short break�. The 2008 and 2012 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party is expected to be back on Monday, 27th January, 2014 and the party is reported to have deliberately cut out plans to make it a memorable one. According to the report, a directive has been dispatched to all the Greater Accra Regional Executives to assemble between 5000 or 10, 000 ardent supporters to meet their former presidential candidate. Reacting to the news on Neat FM, the NPP�s Chairman for the Weija- Gbawe constituency, Mr. Samuel Ofori Ampomah, entreated all to take the news with a pinch of salt. He explained that �I was at that said meeting and no one told us to look for that number of people to welcome Nana Addo�All I can say is that as chairman for the party, I am allowed to welcome Nana Addo with my team and I have faith my other colleagues would do same�.
