Pastor Blames Politicians For Causing Hardship To Ghanaians

The hardship Ghanaians are facing is due to the inability of politicians to fulfil their promises, the District Minister of Bohner Congregation of Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Kwasi Kyei-Baffour, has said. He said some Ghanaians, instead of inviting the Lord into their lives, rather put their trust in politicians and when results were not forthcoming, they complained. Rev. Kyei-Baffour said this in a sermon at a special thanksgiving service the church held to commemorate the 75th birthday and 40 years on the throne of Nana Ampim Darko V, the Chief of Agona Kwanyako. It is about time people stopped depending on politicians and other things for they have nothing good to offer. It is only the Lord Jesus Christ who is compassionate and omnipotent, he said. Rev. Kyei-Baffour said it was important for Ghanaians not to allow themselves to be misled or deceived by politicians and some other people. Nana Ampim Darko, also the Kyidomhene of Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council, thanked the Lord for guiding him, as well as the people who, in diverse ways, supported him to lead the people of the area. Among personalities at the service were the Deputy Central Regional Minister, Madam Pokowa Sawyer and a former President of the Media Commission, Professor Tim Acquah Hayford
