Prez Mahama Has Shown Commitment To Fighting Corruption Than Any Other Gov't

Public Interest Lawyer, Sam Pee Yalley has indicated that President John Dramani Mahamas administration is the only government that has shown much commitment to fighting corruption. In our history, there has never been any government who has made persistent and consistent effort at fighting corruption by way of action, deeds, never in this country; tell me what, tell me whowhy are they being unfair to this young man? Sam Pee Yaley was reacting to an assertion from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that governments cancellation of service providers under the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA) was unsatisfactory and a charade. The Ambassador designate does not understand why the NPP keeps opposing every effort President Mahama makes at fighting corruption and says labeling him (Mahama) black is not goodI think we should stop this because it is not helping anybody. If it is just a ploy to come to power, it doesnt wash. According to him, President Mahama has done a lot of things to show his commitment to fighting corruption and one of this happens to be the setting up of a Sole Commissioner. Contributing to panel discussions on Radio Golds Alhaji and Alhaji, Sam Pee Yalley described NPPs numerous allegation of corruption as manufactured perception of corruption. He said the basis of most of those accusations is as a result of their (NPP) own perception. There are three types of corruption in this country: actual corruption, perceived corruption and manufactured perception of corruptionPeople are manufacturing the perception so that they can say that the government is corrupt. Up to now, nobody has brought any evidence linking the President to GYEEDA or all the other allegations and so why are we just painting the young President as a corrupt person? he queried.
