A Deputy Minister of Information Felix Kwakye Ofosu has described as a �blanket statement�, claims by a former Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that the Mahama led administration has not achieved anything worthwhile for the country since it was voted into power.
To him, it was unfortunate for a seasoned to pour out such untruths in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Speaking at the NPP�s media forum held at the party�s headquarters on Wednesday to assess President John Mahama�s first year in office, the former NPP legislator reportedly said, since 2009 till date, there has not been any development in Ghana as well as government sectors and the economy, adding �the NDC is a create, loot and share government engulf with corruption�.
But, speaking on Asempa FM, Kwakye Ofosu strongly disputed the claim.
�Nana Akomea sometimes just makes blanket statements. Nobody can say that since 2009, when NDC came to power till date, there has not been any development...Every sector of our national life has witnessed improvement�.Schools under trees have been eradicated and Ghanaians have witnessed significant development under NDC and the Mahama led administration over the years,� he said.
