Ade-Cokers Victory Is Assured NDC Executives Throw Weight Behind Him

Ahead of the upcoming National Congress of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), some national executives of the party have thrown their weight behind the current Greater Accra Chairman Joseph Kwabena Ade- Coker, saying that he is still the best man for the job. The party executives have declared his position as a no go area and therefore called on the other members wishing to contest him to reconsider their decisions. They commended Mr. Ade-Coker for his achievements in the region, saying no chairman in the partys history has ever attained that feat. According to them it was only under the Chairmanship of Mr. Ade-Coker that the party won millions of votes and 22 parliamentary seats for the party in region, saying that none of the contestants can compare themselves to Mr. Ade-Coker in terms of achievements. They also called on his supposed contestants especially Mr. Henry Manly-Spain who has declared his intention to contest the Greater Accra Chairmanship position to come out boldly and tell the whole delegates his track record and contribution to the party in the past years. They said anyone who wished to contest Mr. Ade-Coker must be an executive but not any mere person like the current names popping up, saying that the NDC is not like a rotten food that flies feed on. They made clear Mr. Ade-Cokers readiness for anyone who wishes to contest him, but declared that a change in the personality would spell doom for the party in the region and other regions. They described Mr. Ade-Coker as a team player, an achiever as well as a self-disciplined man who also tolerates dissent. They therefore urged all those intending to contest Mr. Ade-Coker to rather exhibit quality leadership skills in their various branches by helping the party to remain in power and stop making false comments about the performing chairman. The NDC is more paramount than the noises that many people are making all in the name of the chairmanship position in the Greater Accra Region the executives stated.
