Political Party Leaders Praise President Mahama's Performance At Encounter With Media

The Leader and Founder of the United Renaissance Party, Kofi Wayo says President Mahama has proved that he is an intellectual who is on top of national issues. He told Radio Ghana that the President has also proved that he knows what he is about especially with regards to the Governance of the country. The 2012 Presidential candidate of the PNC, Hassan Ayariga, says President Mahama did pretty well and was on top of issues when he met the media. He said the first eight months of his tenure were hit by the election petition. For him what is important is for President Mahama to do well to cater for the needs of Ghanaians. The only Independent presidential candidate for the 2012 Elections, Jacob Osei Yeboah, has commended President Mahama for being on top of the issues raised by journalists. He also advocated the need for the programme to be held twice in a year. The Acting Communications Director of the NPP, Perry Okudzeto claims some journalists were given preferential treatment during the president's news conference on Tuesday. According to him, journalists were picked to ask questions while others were denied the chance. A Legal Practitioner, Kakra Essamuah said Ghanaians must be proud to have President Mahama as the Chief Executive of this country. Speaking to Radio Ghana on his impressions about President Mahama's performance, Mr Essamuah said the President answered all questions with skill and acumen.
