Prez Mahama Has Scored Minus 100%

The President John Dramani Mahama-led administration on Tuesday marked its first anniversary in office with a special Public Forum which was organized in Accra, "in line with governments commitment to deepen transparency and accountability. A few hours to the start of the function, Deputy Minister of Information and Media Relations, Felix Kwakye Ofosu in an interview, indicated that the forum was expected to expose and re-echo the achievements of Mahama led administration. But a member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Richard Asante Yeboah posits that the only things which have deepened in Mahama-led administration are corruption, abuse of incumbency, misuse of public funds and misappropriation of public funds. In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, the NPP communicator asserted that the NDC government should not delude itself into thinking it has deepened transparency and accountability so long as the cases of SADA, GYEEDA and SUBAH Infosolution remain unresolved. He was of the view that Mahama-led administration has exhibited gross incompetence and lack of genuine sensitivity towards the suffering of the masses. ..so regarding transparency and accountability, the President has scored negative 100 per cent because he has taken the country backwards; the President has not been accountable to anybody including Parliament because all the monies that were realized from the Oil Fund have not been accounted for and the 2013 budget did not give any indication how the money was utilized, he stated.
