I Was Given A Shell Station Receipt When I Paid For NPP Forms - Osei Prempeh

After paying for nomination forms to contest for the Ashanti Regional Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Kwame Osei Prempeh, reports that instead of receiving an official party receipt to seal the payment, he was handed a gas station receipt. Mr. Osei Prempeh, a former deputy Attorney General and Deputy Minister for Justice, expressed his disappointment at the way NPP executives in the Ashanti Region have deliberately aligned themselves with a candidate to crash his dream of becoming the new Regional Chairman. Speaking on OKAY FM, Mr. Osei Prempeh stated that he was out of the country when the nomination process commenced but sent an aide to get the form on his behalf. According to him, his aide later called to inform him that they cannot hand over the document to him. Upon his return to the country, Mr. Kwame Osei Prempeh stated that he personally decided to go for the form. I called the secretary of the party and he told me that the forms were no longer kept at the party office but were personally kept by F.F Antoh, the Regional Chairman. When I called the chairman, he told me that I could only get a copy of the form at his gas station and not at the party office. After I had paid for the nomination forms at the gas station, I told the person who sold it to me to give me an official party receipt; but to my surprise, he gave me a Shell filling station receipt, he sadly said.
