US Embassy in Accra sends Seasons Greetings to Ghanaians

The United States Embassy in Ghana, on Thursday expressed best wishes for a bright and joyous holiday season. A statement from the Public Affairs Section of the Embassy signed by Jeanne Clark, Acting Public Relations Officer said: "Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, Maulid or the simple pleasures of being with family, we wish you peace, good health, and prosperity that will carry with you throughout the New Year. Afehyia Pa!" The statement said as part of the American community in Ghana, we proudly do what we can for some of Ghana�s most vulnerable and in need children through the globally recognized U.S. Marine Corps Reserve�s �Toys for Tots� and our own internal program we affectionately refer to as �Sub for Santa.� As the spirit of giving abounds through this Season, we were pleased to partner with Children of the Light in Aburi and St. Bakita�s Foundation this year, the statement added.
