Supreme Court Judges Simply Favored Mahama To Be President - Nana Obiri Boahene

One would have thought that with the 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo coming out to publicly accept the outcome of the Supreme Court verdict, members of the party will allow sleeping dogs to lie. The Supreme Court of Ghana, in a majority decision which obviously stunned the opposition party, rejected and dismissed a petition filed by the 2012 NPP presidential candidate, his running mate Dr. Mahmudu Bawumia and Party chairman Jake Obetsebi Lamptey. But the sour grapes seem far from over as a onetime interior minister under President Kufour has revived the issue. Nana Obiri Boahene, in an interview with Okay FM revealed despite the ruling that came from the court, he would forever tell the world at any given opportunity that the NPP were robbed and denied a hard fought victory. He explains that as a practicing lawyer, he has read the Supreme Court ruling which was delivered on 29th August and it informs him that his party was clearly robbed. The former minister of state further states that after going through the ruling he found out that majority of the judges who sat on the case only decided to favor President Mahama. I will say it today and tomorrow and I am interested to take on anybody who wants to challenge me. From A to Z, the judges werent able to tell us that President Mahama was validly electedThere are two types of victories; one is when the loser throws in the towel and the other is when someone forcefully twist your arms to secure victory, he said.
