Mrs Matilda Amissah Arthur, wife of the Vice-President, on Wednesday presented medical equipment to the Eikwe Catholic Hospital and the Newtown Health Centre in the Ellembelle and Jomoro districts of the Western Region. The items, which included wheel chairs, clutches, syringes and infusions, were her personal contribution towards quality healthcare delivery in the country. Mrs Amissah-Arthur urged managements of the two health institutions to take good care of the items in order to increase their lifespan. Mr Yaw Dwumah Ansah, Chief Port Health Officer, on behalf of the hospitals, expressed profound gratitude to Mrs Amissah-Arthur for her kind gesture. He appealed to other benevolent organizations and philanthropists for support.
