The race for national executive positions in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is getting interesting with various individuals jostling each other and aligning with others in the bid to best potential competitors.
Although nominations have not been formally opened, quite a few members have disclosed their intentions to vie for one position or the other. Many of the positions are expected to be hotly contested, especially, the General Secretary position.
However, Tuesday marked another day in which one more of such disclosures was made.
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Fredrick Fredua (F.F.) Anto, speaking on �Ade Akye Abia� on Okay Fm, intimated that he would not seek for a re-election of the position he is currently occupying, but wants to go a notch higher by gunning for the First National Vice-Chairmanship position of the party.
According to him, he has gained enormous experience from serving the party in the capacity of a regional chairman for three consecutive times and believes his service would again be needed at this crucial time the party is in opposition at the national level.
F F Anto is of the view that, if given the nod as a First National Chairman of the party, he would channel his expertise into winning massive support for the party in all areas, in other to win the support and votes of Ghanaians.
He however, declined commenting on what seem to be a hot contest in the making for his current position.
