General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has said counsel for the NDC, Tsatsu Tsikata can play his delay tactics in his cross examination to elongate the case since he knows President John Dramani Mahama is not an eligible President. According to him if counsel for the third respondent believes President Mahama is the rightful president, then he assumes he will quicken with his cross examination so the President can rule comfortably after the final verdict on the petition. �What I believe is that, if he (Tsatsu Tsikata) knows President John Mahama is the President then he (President) should sleep and attend to his duties as the President, but he has come out to say he can�t sleep and for them (the NDC lawyers) to help him (President), the lawyers rather want the case to delay,� he said. Speaking on Adom FM, Sir John conceived that Tsatsu Tsikata has been over hyped prior to his cross examination and has totally failed all who thought he is the �legal wizard� in the history of Ghana despite obtaining his first degree in law at a very tender age. �Mr. Tsikata has been over hyped and that is a very wasteful one because he is doing nothing in court but rather wasting time. Tsatsu Tsikata can never intimidate Dr. Bawumia because Tsikata can never compare himself to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Dr. Bawumia is more intelligent for that and that is making Tsatsu Tsikata confused,� he said. He however said �whether Tsatsu Tsikata will finish with his cross-examination on Monday or not we don�t care. He can use eight (8) months for his cross examination and John Mahama will never be the President of Ghana. He (President Mahama) is not a president but due to rigging he was declared as the President. If Mahama is truly a President, Tsatsu would have accelerated so President Mahama can adore his governance�.
