The Second Lady, Mrs Matilda Nana Manye Amissah-Arthur has asked the people of Ellembelle to rally behind the Minister for Energy and Petroleum, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah to implement effectively his political agenda for constituency. She noted that the Ellembelle MP had been elevated from a deputy position to a full Minister due to his hard work and commitment in the Mills-Mahama-led Administration. Mrs. Amissah-Arthur was addressing thousands of indigenes of Ellembelle, Evaloe-Gwira and Jomoro constituencies during an inter-denominational thanksgiving service at Aiyinasi in the Western Region. The occasion was to afford the Minister the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to the people in his constituency, the members of the Christian and Muslim communities and the traditional council leaders for renewing his mandate and their prayers for him to reach his present position. The Second Lady, who is also an indigene of the area, said she would use her office to seek their interest and asked school children to study hard and take advantage of emerging economic opportunities in the area. The Minister for Energy and Petroleum, Mr. Kofi Buah thanked God and the people for his present office and assured the nation that the regular power outages would soon be a thing of the past. He used the occasion to thank chiefs and the traditional council for their support, especially before his appointment to the high office of Minister of State. Mr Kofi Buah promised job creation for the youth in the area and asked them to take education and vocations seriously. The Omanhene of Easter Nzema Traditional Council, Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli also thanked God for the honour the President had done to Nzemaland and asked the people to support him to succeed. He appealed to the people to be patient with him while measures were taken to address challenges confronting them.
