Tuffuor: Pianims Criticism On NPP Leadership 'Unfortunate'

A Founder Member of the main opposition NPP, Dr Amoako Tuffuor has expressed strong disagreement with another Founder Member Kwame Pianim who says the partys series of boycotts of parliamentary work portray the NPP Executives as confused people. Mr Pianim who blames what he called intellectual and mental laziness of the party executives for the 2012 defeat told the Africawatch Magazine that the national executives should rather focus on rebuilding the party than festering boycotts. The respected Business Economist and Investment Consultant is also calling on the partys 2012 Flagbearer and the NPP as a unit to be courageous in confronting their defeat and stop making a fuss about the election results. He said Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP should fully respect and recognise President Mahama as the legitimately elected head of state until the Supreme Court rules otherwise. But fellow Founding Father, Dr Amoako Tuffuor in an interview with XYZ News said Nana Addos court case couldnt be more right. Nobody is taking the party for a ride, NPP has acted properly...if you are really a good member of the party, you come inside, you push for a meeting and attack from inside. I think in good faith, Akufo-Addo, Obetsebi Lamptey and Bawumia have acted properly Mr. Amoako Tuffuor said. Kwame Pianims criticisms come just a few weeks after similar sentiments were expressed by another party stalwart Dr. Charles Wereko Brobbey.
