Deputy Majority Chief Whip Should Reason Like An Adult And Stop Being Childish

The Minority leader in Parliament, Hon. Osei-Kyei Mesnah-Bonsu has asked the Deputy Majority Chief Whip of Parliament to mind his language as he has gathered enough experience to speak like an "adult". A vituperative attack on representatives of NPP legislators in parliament by the Deputy Majority Chief Whip, Hon. Sampson Ahi, over the partys decision to absent themselves during President Mahamas address to the nation, sparked the verbal war as the minority leader in parliament, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, cautioned the former to begin reasoning as expected of an adult. The Apostle Paul once said in the Bible that when I was a child, I did my thing like a child; and when I became an adult, I reasoned like one, he proverbially said to the NDC MP. Hon. Sampon Ahi set the ball rolling when he accused the NPP members of parliament of behaving like robots; controlled by their General Secretary, Kwadwo Afriyie and party Chairman, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey. According to Hon.Sampson Ahi; "their (the NPPs) walkout was irresponsible, shameful, barbaric and very disrespectful to the Speaker. They did not even have the courtesy to inform the Speaker before walking. This is unacceptable". In a sharp riposte on Peace FMs 6pm news bulletin on Thursday, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu rubbished the allegation of not informing the Speaker before staging a walkout in parliament and directed Hon. Ahi to get his facts right before retorting to lies. He cautioned the NDC MP for Bodi, Hon. Samphon Ahi, to be mindful of the fact that he has been elevated to a position which demands he leaves his childish ways behind. He told Peace FM that he pitys Sampson Ahi for showing he lacked adequate knowledge about parliamentary language. He has been in parliament...I think this time is his third term and he still doesnt understand some of our languages? I am a little sad, he said.
