STATEMENT: JJ Yells At Konadu' Story Is A Fabrication - Rawlings' Office

Our attention has been drawn to a news report in the February 5, 2013 edition of the Al Hajj newspaper captioned JJ Yells at Konadu SHUT UP Enough is Enough! We wish to state emphatically that the publication is false and a fabrication of the Al Hajj tabloid. Her Excellency Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings travelled out of the country on Thursday, January 31 and is still out of the country and therefore the Office is stating with no uncertain terms that the conversation never took place. The former President is in Ghana and did not travel with Nana Konadu. The Office advises members of the general public to disregard and treat with contempt, publications by the Al-Hajj on the Rawlings family because it has cultivated the habit of publishing falsehood about the Rawlings family since its initial appearance on the newsstands. The Office wishes to also advise members of the media to be circumspect in reproducing reports on the Rawlingss by the said newspaper because they will be held equally liable. Thank you.
