Jailed NPP MP Free

Family and friends of the jailed Bawku Central MP, Adamu Dramani Sakande traumatized by his prolonged admission at the Cardiothoracic center at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital should be heaving a sigh of relief. It�s now confirmed; President Mahama has granted him presidential pardon because of his deteriorating health conditions. Mr Dramani was sentenced to two years imprisonment after he was found guilty of false declaration of office, perjury and deceiving a public officer. But he has now been granted pardon on health grounds. John Jinapor, spokesperson of President Mahama, said the decision is purely on medical grounds. Details later
