Mr Kofi Asmah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Millennium City, has appealed to supporters of the two major political parties to desist from any deed or word that could bring about election violence. He said the two major parties National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) must package their campaign messages in a manner that could promote peace and answers to the nation�s economic problems. Mr Asmah, who made these known to the press at Gomoa Brofo on Friday, said the nation was facing unemployment problems, food insufficiency and others important issues. �These among others are some of the topics politicians should let the people know how they would help find solution to them and not the spewing of personal attacks, insults and other utterances that could not in any way improve their living standard�. He said job creation should be top priority of the country to absorb many unemployed graduates who are going round to look for non-existence jobs. Mr Asmah, who is also Managing Director of 21st Century Construction Company Limited, said the private sector was doing everything possible to help absorb some of the unemployed youth since government alone cannot solve the problem. He expressed concern about the poor educational standards in the area, especially that of the girl-child and urged the people to send their girl-child to school. The CEO asked the parents to not to shirk their responsibilities by providing their wards with their basic needs including education.
