Former Kumasi Mayor Shows Class At Campaign Launch

The entire Kumasi Township was shaken to its roots when political bigwigs within the New Patriotic Party stormed the Asokwa constituency to assure the electorates of how committed the party is, in restoring hope and bringing meaning to the shattered lives of the people. The occasion was the Official launch of the campaign for the Asokwa constituency, and the School Junction Park, venue for the event, was filled to capacity as excited patrons filled the laterals and the fringes of the road; with the invigorating assurance that better life is just in the offing. The Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency, Madam Patricia Appiagyei also known in the constituency as Sompahemaa who led speakers at the well-attended rally, outlined an excited package for the electorates within the Asokwa constituency. The launch lived up to its billing as patrons and enthusiastic constituents started converging at the grounds as early as 6am and by 9am the whole School Junction park had been occupied by the expectant crowd. Madam Appiaggyei intimated to the mammoth crowd that she would not renege on her pledge to bring the needed intervention to her constituents. She promised to accelerate the development agenda of the constituents adding that she is currently arranging with her partners from the Afro-Asian to establish small loans and credit for the constituent to access. Madam Appiaggyei, a former mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, was visibly amazed by the shocking crowd and was full of praise for her constituents for reposing confidence in her and promised the enthusiastic electorates that she will do all what she can to maximize the needed votes to ensure Nana Addo becomes the next President of Ghana come January 7, 2013.
