Final year Junior High School students are writing their last and final paper in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) today. The examination began on the 16th of this month with over 376, 000 candidates from 11,164 public and private Junior High Schools taking part. They are made up of 203,394 boys and 173,465 girls. The examination is an entry requirement for pupils planning to go to Senior High Schools in the country.
