The New Patriotic Party�s Member of Parliament for Assin North, Kennedy Agyapong, can now enjoy the comfort of his bed, after spending three grueling nights in the cells of the Bureau of National Investigations.
His crack legal team secured his release in an unprecedented marathon session on Thursday that led to him being granted two bails in one day. Hon. Agyapong, who was arrested and charged for allegedly inciting and inflaming passion, was released on health grounds and is on a GhC400, 000 bail.
The Accra High Court was the centre of attraction in Ghana on Thursday and could have been mistaken as a rally ground. It was full of drama, suspense, excitements and disappointments.
