STATEMENT: Blame Mills If Ghana's Elections Turns Violent

The Young Patriots, a youth wing of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has petitioned the World Bank and representatives of other Embassies in the country over the on-going Biometric Registration exercise. The group claims the confusion, hitches and glitches that has characterized the process associated with the exercise could derail the December polls. They are therefore calling on the World Bank and the Embassies as development partners who have a stake in the country's electioneering process to rein in President Mills' government with their financial clout and international peer pressure since he (Mills) has turned a deaf ear to the voices of the masses and counsel from Ghanaian stake-holders. Below is the full statement issued by the Young Patriots.
