Over the weekend, I sighted a viral video wherein some customary rites were being performed for one young girl alleged to be 12 years old. The essence of the customary rites was to “engage” this young girl to the Gborbu Wulomo of Nungua. As a legal practitioner, I tend to share my views on this as it raises lots of legal matters.
