Easter and the Transformation of Societies

He is Risen He's not here, He is risen from the dead, just as He said what happened. Come, see where His body was lying. Matthew 28:6. Easter is not just a ritual for Christian celebrations of the risen Christ but it is a significant time for reflection and a check on our attitudes if we are being fair to Christ's massive sacrifices for us. Isaiah 53:4-7 says "Surely our griefs He bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we esteemed Him stricken. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray. Each of us has turned to his way, But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, and yet He did not open his mouth; like a lamb that is silent before its shearers, so he did not open his mouth.
