ZESCO United forward Rahim Osmanu has tipped Asante Kotoko to join his outfit in qualifying for the knockout stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Zambian giants suffered their first loss of the campaign following a 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on matchday two of the competition at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
The performance of the Porcupine Warriors has earned praises from Ghanaian-born striker Rahim Osmanu, who emerged from the bench to score a consolation for the Zambian side.
"If you see the performance of teams in the group, I think we and Kotoko will qualify to the next stage round following the quality performance we’ve shown after two games," Osmanu stated on Happy FM.
"Our aim is to finish top of the group, but I see Kotoko as a strong competitor who looks like joining us in the next round."
Kotoko will play as guests to another Zambian side Nkana FC on matchday three on Sunday, February 24 while ZESCO United will engage Al Hilal in Sudan.
