The Confederation of African Football (CAF), will conduct the official draw for the 11th Total Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON), in Ghana on Saturday, October 21.
The development, is a confirmation of Ghana, as the host nation for the competition, after months of uncertainty.
In view of this, CAF has opened media accreditation for journalists, who wish to cover the eight nation competition.
According to CAF, media personnel interested in covering the official draw and final tournament can apply for accreditation through the CAF Media Channel via www.cafonline.com.
It said “all applications are subject to confirmation and that would NOT be on a first-come, first-served basis, as all successful applicants would be notified and provided with further information in due course”.
Nigeria, Cameroon, Mali, South Africa, Zambia, Equatorial Guinea would join Ghana to battle for supremacy at the Cape Coast and Accra Sports Stadiums, as the two hosting cities.
