Ghana defender John Boye is likely to miss the Black Stars AFCON 2019 qualifier against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
The lanky guardsman picked up a thigh injury on Tuesday during FC Metz French League Cup win over RC Lens.
The 31-year-old lasted just 15 minutes of the game as he was replaced by Zambian centre-back Stoppila Zunzu.
FC Metz coach Frédéric Antonetti was upbeat about the Ghanaian availability in the Saturday's league clash against RC Lens.
"It's not a breakdown. It's not as bad as that, but for the meeting on Saturday, it will be complicated," he said.
However, the former Rennes centre-back could be ruled out of Ghana's AFCON 2019 qualifier against Kenya if he fails to feature in Saturday's game against the Blood and Gold lads.
