Ex-Ghana star Laryea Kingston is delighted with his brand extension after co-emceeing the launch of the Ghana Premier League sponsorship deal with the Zylofon Media Group.
The former Heart of Midlothian player joined sports journalist Abigail Sena-Sosu on stage at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra.
It was there that Zylofon Cash- a subsidiary of the Zylofon Media-was announced as corporate sponsor of the league.
Kingston performed creditably well and wants to enter into other ventures related to the sport.
''It's true that it's my first time, so it is a great honour to be part of this show. It's not an easy task as everyone knows my job is to chase the globular leather ball around the field,'' he said.
''Different stage, but it's a very good experience for me. I really enjoyed my time up there.
''I have been saying most former players like Didier Drogba- like CAF and FIFA programmes they have been emceeing the programmes. For me it's a big challenge for me and looking to more occasions like this.''
