Ghana Champions Asante Kotoko has lined-up a friendly with Romanian giants Petrolul Ploiești. The Club has confirmed.
The Porcupine Warriors are scheduled to play the European side at the Babayara Sports Stadium on September 4.
A deal between management of Asante Kotoko and officials of the Romanian side is expected to be agreed by the end of the week following advance negotiation between the two parties.
Officials of Petrolul are expected to arrive in Ghana on Tuesday to finalize the deal.
A press conference will however take place at the Golden Tulip Hotel on Wednesday April 22 to brief the media on the upcoming friendly between the two giants.
The game is however expected to build a strong connection between Asante Kotoko and Petrolul.
Petrolul Ploiești has won the Romanian League title thus the Ligue 1 on four occasions. The team has been able to lift the Cupa Romďż˝niei three times as well as the Supercupa Romďż˝niei.
