Accra Hearts of Oak will leave Accra for Mali today to engage Djoliba in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup tie at the Stade 26 Mars in Bamako on Friday.
The 30-man Hearts contingent, made up of players and officials, are expected to return home on Saturday to prepare for their titanic Premier League derby at the Accra Stadium next Sunday.
Hearts eliminated Senegalese side Olympique de Ngor in the first round of the Confederation Cup to advance to this stage of the competition. Before that they had eliminated AS Police of Benin in the preliminary round much against the odds.
With their confidence boosted by the previous victories, Coach Herbert Addo and his boys are expected to get a good result in Bamako to edge closer to the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
