Kotoko CEO, Opoku Nti says the team is ready to welcome ex-Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingston after the goalkeeper declared his intentions to play for the Ghana Champions before he retires.
The former Black Stars goalie reveled last week that he wants to feature for the Porcupine Warriors before he announces his retirement from active football.
Kingston, who has been recognized as one of the most celebrated Black Stars goalkeepers is currently unattached after he terminated his contract with Turkish outfit Balıkesirspor.
“Richard Kingston is one goalkeeper I respect so much. I have met him once and he declared his intention to play for Kotoko before he retires,” he told Ghanasportsonline.com in an interview.
“We are ready to accept him at the Club. He is always to the Club”
Kotoko have dominated the Ghanaian top-flight in the past three seasons winning the Ghana Premier League on three successive occasions.
